Sabine,

When you told me that you were the ONLY junior on the homecoming court, all the pieces finally fell into place.  I GOT it.  I mean, I knew it was a big deal but you were the ONE. The ONLY.

So incredible. In the words of my mother, I nearly bust my buttons with pride.

Then, your poise and grace and how you held it all together . . . so great.  I cried.  Granted, my current hormonal state always makes tears an option but what you said about your family and how you thanked Jac and I . . . well, my throat nearly broke and I couldn’t breathe. From the bottom of my heart, thanks.  Thanks for that.

Meanwhile, our girls were pleased as punch that you, their COUSIN is a real, live, PRINCESS.  We’re pretty pleased, too.

Just so you know.
