Respond ye souls in endless rest, Ye patriarchs and prophets blest! Alleluia! Alleluia! Ye holy twelve ye martyrs strong, All saints triumphant, raise the song! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluuuuuuia!
We survived this weekend with all of it’s festivities and celebrations and sugar binges. Alleluia!
Highlights include:
– Fabulous costumes if-I-do-say-so-myself. All for $15.03! Boo-yah!
– The best St. Joseph, Francis, Francis’ Dove and Clare I’ve seen in a while.
– Giving Max the option to wear a Wizard of Oz costume or his Saint costume to the school hoopla and having him choose his Saint costume.
– Philip wearing his ninja suit under his St. Francis Habit.
– Ellie learning what this candy business is all about.
– Finding a wrapped candy and a marble simultaneously in Ellie’s mouth.
– A succesful pumpkin carving party with Fr.s Jim and Tyler, Susan and Julie.
– 5 pumpkins carved! Thanks Wittes for the great gourds!
– Monday being completely freaked out by the jack o’ lanterns.
– Trick or treating with Elizabeth and Maryann. We love us some Hofer girls! And we really loved the bear and mosquito get ups.
– Jac scoring some potatoes when he went to the door at Susan’s place.
– A potty pit stop by Tess while trick or treating. Many, MANY thanks to the Hurds for the use of your facilities and to the Duffy girls for showing her to the bathroom!
– Philip tripping and falling on his face and spilling his candy and just proclaiming, “TRIPPED.” instead of crying.
– Ellie pushing her siblings out of the way to get to the candy.
– Being the 100th trick or treat-er at a nice old lady’s house.
– Co-op All Saints Day party at Casa de Daniel. Thanks Elizabeth for coming and helping out. You = life saver. Fer rillz.
– Skull cake pops!
– Homeschool moms visiting in our home.
– Philip wearing his jammies under his habit all day today. Yes, that’s how we roll.
– Homeschoolers in Saints costumes running around the block. Goooood time.

Oh, I could go on and on. We’ve packed a week of memories into the last four days. And the party isn’t over yet! Tomorrow is All Souls – stay tuned!
Meanwhile, check out the costumey goodness.

Cuz nothing screams “St. Francis” like a ninja suit. Sa-weeeet!
I know, right? Makes him legit.
I don’t know about the kids, but those sparkly skulls really freak me out…
I would of had nightmares for sure.
All the rest looks like lots and lots of fun!
As for St. Francis the Ninja, ya never know when a Ninja might be needed!
