After one heckuva week, Saturday dawned cloudy and cool and brought with it Max’s feast day.  Or, more closely, MAX’S FEAST DAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Folks here were just a leeeeettle excited.

Crepes for breakfast! A surprise trip that ended in a visit to the Journey Museum! Mass with Father Tyler and just us! Peppy’s Pizza! Surprise packages! Nap, shmap! (Who needs sleep on a FEAST DAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY?) Presents! Dinner at the Trask’s with the Yanti and little Max (“Macky” was a little confused when he asked our Max “What’s your name?” and heard his own name in response. . . )!  Bonfire! S’mores! Fireworks! Stogies! (For the big boys only) Ice cream! Being carried into the house!

Whew.

Is it any wonder that we all slept in until 10?

Thank yous go out to Fr. Tyler for a beautiful Mass, the Lang’s for the tasty surprises and the Trasks and Yantes families for one spectacular night.

Thank you, too, for the witness of St. Maximilian.
