I am in the “Twenty Ten” camp. And here’s my argument: we never, ever said “I was born in the year one thousand, nine-hundred and eighty.” That’s just silly. So why say “Two thousand and ten”? It makes no sense.
But really? I like how “Two Zero One Zero” sounds the best.
Either way, however you say it, it’s a new month, new year, new decade.
Happy New Year! Make this one count.
