I’ve mentioned this before, but this woman has changed my life.  Not in a tent revival sort of way, mind you, but spend a minute reading her words, and you’ll get the idea.

Nie has inspired me to live out my vocation as wife and mother in real and tangible ways.  Her joys and struggles ring true to me make me fearless to live what God has called me to.  Her home, her children, her husband, her shoes . . . everything about her is beautiiful.

Then came the plane crash.  That’s how I found out about her, actually – a link on etsy.  Her family photo was so beautiful I wanted to know more.  So I read.  And read.  And read.  Then I read her sister writing about her and fell for the whole family.  I’ve been hooked.

Everyday since that day in mid august I have lifted up Nie and her family in prayer.  She has been nearly constant in my thoughts and petitions.  So when the chance came up to help out with an online/silent auction, I was all over it.  I busted out some hats and a super-sweet apron (if I do say so myself.  And I do say.).

You can check it out here.

They’re items #69, 70 and 71.

You know you want to bid on them.  You know, so I don’t look like a loser.  And to help Nie.

Pray for her, won’t you?
