As I went to post pictures of the demolishing of the gingerbread house I realized I had yet to post the photos (and they’re fabulous. My husband’s a professional photographer, have I told you that?) of the contruction. So here is the gingerbread house from sticky start to it’s delicious (??) demise.
- Shredded wheat looks mighty sweet
- The roofing crew
- Icicles on eaves (and a broken window. Ghetto Gingerbread house.)
- “That’s a great idea!”
- Candy cane eaves
- Candy window and chocolate flower boxes
- “Can I help?”
- Walk way and a fancy doorknob
- Oh Tannenbaum! Stars piped on a sugar cone. Nice!
- This is our snowman. We called him stumpy.
- Aerial shot
- All the bells and whistles
- The finished product!
- Philip didn’t hesitate
- Neither did Max
- Then Dad showed them how it was done
Poor Tess. She had been sneaking bits and pieces since it was up but when she had free reign, she announced in disappointment, “I don’t yike it. It’s too yucky fo me.” Sad girl.
The end.
